HANDLE WITH CARE

More than 150 workers lose their lives at work every year, according to Safe Work Australia, which highlights the importance of on-site safety. Whether you run a large construction operation with hundreds of employees or a close-knit team, handling construction materials should be high on your agenda. Does your team have the skills and ability to apply environmental management principles? Training for handling construction materials is essential for any worker in the construction or associated industries. While this course is not compulsory, it can add real value to your operations and increase productivity and standards across the board. Capital Training Institute is proud of our CPCCCM2004A Handle Construction Materials course and we believe that it is important for businesses in all states and territories.

Risk Management

When it comes to construction materials and various other components, identifying and controlling risk is vital. This is mostly because the environment is constantly changing and what is safe one day may not be the next. As such, our trainers have developed a unique approach to risk management through legislative education and understanding.

Duty of Care

Employers have a duty of care to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees, visitors, contractors and others in the workplace. As such, every employer needs to undertake practical measures to control workplace risks and hazards and avoid manual handling injuries. A course in manual handling of construction material is a great way to promote this.
