The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought about as big a culture and lifestyle shift as a singular event possibly can. Industries, workplaces, and workers across Australia and world are putting lives at risk like never before.

In a domestic response, the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) have launched a series of new, nationally recognised infection control courses designed to keep Australian workers and the wider community safe. These Skills Sets are also designed to assist business owners in providing the correct infection control training to their workers as part of the various states COVID- 19 response WHS plans.

There are four new infection control courses, three are developed to meet the needs of specific industries and one related to health and community care settings and medical based infection prevention and control training.

This infection prevention and control training is centred around two main areas, how to keep yourself and others safe, and how to maintain a safe workplace.
